Follow these steps to redeem and activate your McAfee LiveSafe subscription code on Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS.


Step 1: Create or log in to Your McAfee Account

  1. Visit the McAfee activation page: https://www.mcafee.com/activate
  2. Sign in with your McAfee account. 
    • If you don’t have an account, click Sign Up and create one using your email address.


Step 2: Redeem Your McAfee LiveSafe Subscription Code

  1. On the activation page, enter your 25-digit McAfee LiveSafe subscription code (found on your purchase receipt or product card).
  2. Click Submit or Next.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to link the subscription to your McAfee account.


Step 3: Download and Install McAfee LiveSafe

For Windows and macOS:

  1. Once the subscription is redeemed, go to your McAfee account dashboard.
  2. Click Download under McAfee LiveSafe.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
  4. Once installed, open McAfee LiveSafe and log in.

For Android and iOS:

  1. Download McAfee Mobile Security from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Open the app and log in with your McAfee account.
  3. Your subscription should be automatically recognized.


Step 4: Activate McAfee LiveSafe

  1. Open McAfee LiveSafe on your device.
  2. Go to My Subscription or Account to check if your license is active.
  3. If prompted, enter your subscription code again and click Activate.

✅ Your McAfee LiveSafe is now activated and ready to use!


Troubleshooting Activation Issues

  • Ensure you entered the subscription code correctly (avoid spaces or typos).
  • Make sure you have an active internet connection during activation.
  • If your subscription isn’t recognized, try signing out and signing back in.
