Step 1: Check System Requirements

Before installing Windows 11 Pro, ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements:

  • Processor: 1 GHz or faster with at least 2 cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC)
  • RAM: 4 GB or more
  • Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device
  • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0
  • Graphics: DirectX 12-compatible graphics card with WDDM 2.0 driver
  • Display: 720p resolution or higher, 9” or larger screen

Step 2: Download Windows 11 Pro

  1. Go to the official Microsoft Windows 11 download page:
    ?https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
  2. Choose one of the following installation methods: 
    • Windows 11 Installation Assistant (for upgrading from Windows 10)
    • Create Windows 11 Installation Media (for a bootable USB or DVD)
    • Download Windows 11 ISO (for manual installation)


Step 3: Install Windows 11 Pro

If Upgrading from Windows 10 Pro:

  1. Run the Windows 11 Installation Assistant and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. Your PC will restart multiple times during the process.
  3. Once completed, log in with your Microsoft account.

If Performing a Clean Installation:

  1. Create a bootable USB drive using the Media Creation Tool.
  2. Restart your PC and boot from the USB drive (Press F2, F12, Delete, or Esc to access the Boot Menu).
  3. Follow the installation steps, select Windows 11 Pro, and format the drive if necessary.
  4. Complete the setup and log in.


Step 4: Activate Windows 11 Pro

If You Have a Product Key:

  1. Open Settings (Press Win + I).
  2. Go to System > Activation.
  3. Click Change product key, enter your 25-character Windows 11 Pro key, and click Next.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

If Upgrading from Windows 11 Home to Pro:

  1. Open Settings (Win + I) > System > Activation.
  2. Click Upgrade your edition of Windows.
  3. Enter a Windows 11 Pro product key or purchase a license from Microsoft.
  4. Restart your PC after the upgrade completes.

Activation Complete! Your Windows 11 Pro is now fully set up.


Troubleshooting Activation Issues

  • Ensure you are using a valid Windows 11 Pro product key.
  • Check your internet connection and try again.
  • If upgrading from Windows 10, make sure your license supports Windows 11 Pro.
