Step 1: Check System Requirements
Before proceeding, ensure your PC meets the system requirements:
- OS: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
- Processor: 1 GHz or faster, SSE2 support
- RAM: 2 GB (32-bit) or 4 GB (64-bit)
- Storage: 3 GB available disk space
- Display: 1280 × 768 resolution
Step 2: Download Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016
- Go to the official Microsoft Office setup page:
? https://setup.office.com - Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- If you don’t have one, create a free account.
- Enter your product key (25-character code found on your purchase receipt or product card).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to associate Office with your account.
- Click Download and select the correct version for your PC.
Step 3: Install Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016
- Open the downloaded setup file (OfficeSetup.exe).
- Click Yes if prompted by User Account Control (UAC).
- Office will start installing in the background. Wait for the installation to complete.
- Once finished, click Close.
Step 4: Activate Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016
- Open any Office application (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Click Sign In and enter the Microsoft account used during setup.
- Office will automatically detect and activate the license.
- If prompted, enter your product key and follow the on-screen instructions.
✅ Activation Complete! You can now start using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016.
