Step 1: Check Device Compatibility

  • Ensure your phone supports eSIM.
  • Your phone must be unlocked to use a different carrier’s eSIM.


Step 2: Redeem & Activate eSIM

Option 1: Using a QR Code

  1. Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Navigate to Mobile Data / Cellular.
  3. Select Add eSIM / Add Cellular Plan.
  4. Choose Use a QR Code and scan the provided code.
  5. Follow on-screen instructions to activate.

Option 2: Manual Activation

If the provider gives you activation details instead of a QR code:

  1. Go to Settings > Mobile Data / Cellular.
  2. Choose Add eSIM and select Enter Details Manually.
  3. Input the required SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from the provider.
  4. Follow the setup process.


Step 3: Set eSIM as Active

  • Go to Settings > Mobile Data / Cellular.
  • Ensure the eSIM is enabled and set as the primary or secondary data plan.
  • Turn on Mobile Data and enable Data Roaming (if required).


Step 4: Restart & Test

  • Restart your phone.
  • Open a browser or app to test your internet connection.


Troubleshooting Tips

  • If activation fails, check your internet connection and try again.
  • Ensure airplane mode is off.
  • If needed, reset network settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  • Contact your eSIM provider for assistance.
