Steps to Redeem a Lyft Gift Card
Method 1: Redeem via the Lyft App (Recommended)
- Open the Lyft app on your smartphone.
- Log in to your Lyft account (or create one if you're new).
- Tap on your profile picture (top-left corner).
- Select "Payment" or "Wallet".
- Tap "Add Lyft Cash" → "Gift Card".
- Enter your gift card code and tap "Redeem".
- The balance will be added to your Lyft Cash and automatically used for future rides.
How to Use Your Lyft Gift Card Balance
- Your Lyft Cash balance will be automatically applied when you book a ride.
- If the ride costs more than your gift card balance, you can pay the remaining amount with another payment method.
How to Check Your Lyft Gift Card Balance
- Open the Lyft app → Tap "Wallet" or "Payment" → Your Lyft Cash balance will be displayed.
Important Notes:
- Lyft Gift Cards do not expire.
- Gift cards can only be used for Lyft rides, not for Lyft subscriptions or tips.
- Gift cards are region-locked, meaning they can only be used in the U.S.
